ChatGPT becomes far more useful when you stop treating every chat as a blank page. This lab builds a repeatable workspace for a real project—from a clean brief and source files to web research, a finished deliverable, and a sensible privacy check.
What you will build
You will create a compact project hub for a launch, client brief, job search, or personal goal. Along the way you will learn when to use Projects, file uploads, Search, data analysis, Temporary Chat, and ordinary chats—and when not to use any AI tool at all.
Inside the lab
- Set instructions that improve consistency without over-constraining the work.
- Prepare documents and spreadsheets so the model can actually read them well.
- Research with citations, then verify every decision-grade claim.
- Turn a long exchange into a clean handoff another person can use.
