CoursinAI

Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the CoursinAI website, learning platform, courses, memberships, and related services.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

1. Your agreement

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using CoursinAI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your location, to use CoursinAI independently. You are responsible for accurate account information, keeping your login secure, and activity under your account. One learner account is for one person unless a team plan says otherwise.

3. Learning services

CoursinAI provides self-paced education about practical uses of artificial intelligence. Course descriptions, lesson counts, included resources, and access periods are shown before purchase. We may improve, reorganize, or replace material to keep it useful as AI tools change, while preserving the overall learning value of a paid course or plan.

4. Payments, renewals, and cancellation

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. One-time course purchases provide the access period shown at checkout. Recurring memberships renew automatically at the displayed interval until cancelled. You may cancel renewal from your account before the next billing date; cancellation does not normally remove access already paid for. Taxes may be added when required.

5. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your location.

6. Acceptable use

You may use course materials for your personal learning and internal professional development. You may not share accounts, resell access, reproduce substantial parts of a course, scrape the platform, interfere with security, upload malicious code, harass others, or use CoursinAI to plan unlawful or harmful activity.

7. Intellectual property

CoursinAI and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, curriculum, written material, original graphics, downloads, and brand assets. Your purchase grants a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the included materials during your access period. You keep ownership of work you create while completing exercises.

8. Third-party AI tools

Lessons may demonstrate third-party products. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, pricing, and availability. Do not submit confidential, personal, or regulated information to an AI tool unless you are authorized and understand its data controls. CoursinAI is not responsible for third-party outputs or service changes.

9. Educational nature and responsible use

AI outputs can be incomplete, biased, or incorrect. Our teaching emphasizes verification and human judgment, but course content is educational information—not legal, medical, financial, or other regulated professional advice. We do not guarantee employment, income, business results, or a particular tool outcome.

10. Availability and termination

We work to keep the service available but may perform maintenance or respond to security incidents. We may suspend access for material violations of these Terms, fraud, abusive conduct, or threats to the service. When reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CoursinAI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service or reliance on AI output. Any aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for that service during the twelve months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect service or legal changes. Material updates will be communicated through the site or your account and will apply prospectively. Questions can be sent through our Contact page.
